Introduction

This document ("Agreement") outlines the terms and conditions for your use of the onlinepetshowing.com website ("Website" or "Service") and any associated products or services ("Services"). By using the Website, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with the Website operator ("Operator," "we," "us," or "our").

If you are accessing the Website or Services on behalf of a business or another legal entity, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to this Agreement. In such cases, references to "you," "your," or "User" will refer to the entity you represent. If you lack the necessary authority or disagree with any terms of this Agreement, you must refrain from using the Website and Services.

By accessing or using the Website and Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement. You further acknowledge that this Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and the Operator, governing your use of the Website and Services, even though it is electronic and does not require a physical signature.

By entering any Online Pet Showing competitions and using our Website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. General Guidelines

Online Pet Showing is a pet-focused event unless explicitly stated otherwise.
While other animals may appear in submitted images, pets must always be the main subject.
Online Pet Showing is a “fun” competition and is not affiliated with any breed, pet organizations, or showing societies.

2. Participation Disclaimer

Participation is at your own risk. Online Pet Showing is not responsible for any injuries sustained during competition.
Judges’ decisions are final and cannot be contested.
Refunds will not be issued for non-placement or unused entries.

3. Entries and Image Requirements

Entrants must own or have explicit permission to use all submitted images.
Images featuring watermarks across the subject will not be accepted. Only advertising watermarks are permitted.
Basic digital editing, such as background swaps, is allowed but must not alter the pet’s physical characteristics unless explicitly permitted in class criteria.
Heavily manipulated images are allowed only if specified in the class criteria.
Drawings or AI-generated images, including AI-altered backgrounds, are prohibited unless explicitly allowed in the rules.
Entrants under 16 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to participate.
Entrants must have permission from all individuals featured in their images. Misuse of images will result in an immediate ban.
Entries missing key information, such as the entrant’s full name or the pet’s name, may be rejected.
Social media handles, pet organization names, or additional promotional text will not be displayed.

4. Classes and Deadlines

Classes with fewer than 10 entries may be extended into the following month.
Entry deadlines may be adjusted at Online Pet Showing’s discretion.
Each pet and owner combination may enter the same class multiple times.
For collage classes, participants must create their collages; Online Pet Showing will not provide this service.

5. Refunds and Eligibility

Refunds will only be issued at Online Pet Showing’s discretion and will exclude transaction fees.
Free entries and unused loyalty points are non-refundable and hold no monetary value.
If an entry is deemed ineligible, participants may be asked to reassign their entry to another class or postpone it to a future show.

6. Rosettes and Prizes

Rosettes are not guaranteed upon entry. Availability and designs may change without notice.
Due to GSPR and customs regulations, first-place prizes cannot be shipped to Northern Ireland or EU countries.
Sponsored class prizes are sent directly by sponsors. Any issues must be addressed directly with the sponsor.
Prizes are not interchangeable and cannot be transferred to another individual. Unclaimed prizes will return to the prize pool.
Rosettes will only be held for six months. Unclaimed rosettes will not be stored beyond this period.

7. Postage and Delivery

UK Entrants: Free 2nd Class delivery is standard. Upgraded delivery options, such as 1st Class or tracked mail, are available at an additional cost. Online Pet Showing reserves the right to use an alternate postal service if necessary.
International Entrants: Participants are responsible for covering standard airmail postage. Additional fees may apply for tracked or signed delivery services. Customs charges may apply to international shipments, and participants are responsible for these costs. Rosettes will be declared at their entry value for customs compliance and cannot be adjusted.
Online Pet Showing is not responsible for loss or damage during transit. Participants must provide accurate postal addresses, as incorrect details may result in lost items without compensation.

8. Free Entries and Loyalty Points

Free entries are earned under the following conditions: One free entry is provided for every two fully paid entries (excluding charity classes and “Everyone’s a Winner” classes).
Free entries must be used within their validity period and cannot be exchanged for other rewards.
“Second Chance” entries are eligible only when two or more paid entries fail to be placed. Winning a free class rosette disqualifies eligibility for the "Second Chance" class.
Loyalty points are earned at a rate of one point for every £3.50 regular class paid entry. Points must be claimed via the Online Pet Showing website and are valid for 12 months from the last purchased entry.
Loyalty entries cannot be used for charity classes or “Everyone’s a Winner” classes.
Separate entry forms are required to allocate loyalty points for multiple participants.

9. Judging and Results

Judging begins once all entries are uploaded to the Website on the specified closing date.
Judges have three days to submit their results, and Online Pet Showing aims to publish results within three business days of receipt.
Judges and their immediate family or close friends are prohibited from entering classes they are judging.
If a participant knows a judge personally, they may be asked to transfer their entry to another class.

10. Code of Conduct

Poor behavior or failure to follow these terms may result in disqualification or a permanent ban from Online Pet Showing.
Participants are expected to treat judges, sponsors, and event organizers with respect.
All entrants must comply with the rules to ensure fairness and integrity in the competition.

11. Miscellaneous Provisions

All rosettes are handmade, and slight variations between rosettes are expected.
Participants must notify Online Pet Showing of any changes to their address or contact details. Refunds or replacements will not be provided for incorrect information.
Any discrepancies in the points league must be reported to onlinepetshowing@gmail.com before rosettes are shipped, as adjustments cannot be made afterward.
Ignoring or violating these terms may result in permanent exclusion from Online Pet Showing.

Links to Other Resources

The Website and Services may include links to third-party resources such as external websites, mobile applications, or other services. These links are provided for convenience and do not imply any approval, endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with the linked resources unless explicitly stated. Online Pet Showing does not evaluate, warrant, or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or quality of the content, products, or services provided by third parties. We disclaim all responsibility for any actions, products, services, or content associated with external resources. Users are encouraged to thoroughly review the legal terms, privacy policies, and other conditions associated with any external resource accessed through links on the Website. Accessing such resources is entirely at your own risk.

Prohibited Uses

Users are strictly prohibited from using the Website, Services, or Content for any of the following purposes: (a) Engaging in unlawful activities; (b) Soliciting others to perform or participate in unlawful acts; (c) Violating any applicable international, federal, provincial, state, or local laws, regulations, or ordinances; (d) Infringing on the intellectual property rights of Online Pet Showing or third parties; (e) Harassing, abusing, discriminating against, or harming others based on protected characteristics such as gender, race, religion, age, or disability; (f) Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information; (g) Uploading or transmitting malicious software, viruses, or harmful code that may disrupt the functionality of the Website, Services, or third-party systems; (h) Engaging in activities such as spamming, phishing, crawling, scraping, or similar unauthorized actions; (i) Engaging in obscene, immoral, or inappropriate conduct; (j) Interfering with or bypassing the security measures of the Website, Services, or any third-party systems or networks. Violation of these prohibited uses may result in the immediate termination of your access to the Website and Services.

Intellectual Property Rights

"Intellectual Property Rights" encompass copyrights, trademarks, patents, designs, and all other forms of intellectual property, whether registered or unregistered, including any related applications. This Agreement does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property from the Operator or third parties to the User. All rights, titles, and interests in such intellectual property remain exclusively with the Operator. All trademarks, service marks, logos, and graphics used in connection with the Website and Services are the property of the Operator or its licensors. Other trademarks appearing in connection with the Website may belong to third parties. Use of the Website does not grant you any rights or licenses to reproduce or otherwise use these trademarks.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, or licensors shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for lost profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data loss. The total aggregate liability of the Operator for claims arising from the use of the Website and Services is limited to one pound (£1) or the total amount paid by the User to the Operator in the one month preceding the event giving rise to the claim, whichever is greater. This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, including contract, tort, or negligence.

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold the Operator, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors harmless against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) User-generated content submitted to the Website; (b) Use of the Website or Services; (c) Any willful misconduct or breach of this Agreement by the User.

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain valid and enforceable. Any invalid provision will be limited or reinterpreted as necessary to comply with applicable laws without affecting the overall intent of this Agreement.

Dispute Resolution

This Agreement and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom. By using the Website, you waive any right to a jury trial for disputes related to this Agreement. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this Agreement.

Changes and Amendments

The Operator reserves the right to modify or update this Agreement at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website unless otherwise specified. Users will be notified of significant changes through appropriate communication methods. Continued use of the Website and Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Website and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to access or use the Website and Services.
